Our Story

A sustainable cashmere brand rooted in authenticity and respect

At Severine Perraudin, we believe true luxury is built on deep values: authenticity, sustainability, knowledge-sharing, and respect for life. Since 2008, our mission has been clear: to create exceptional cashmere that honors nature and people, telling a human story inspired by Mongolian ancestral traditions.

A committed vision for sincere slow fashion

In response to the climate emergency and the excesses of fast fashion, we chose to slow down. Fewer collections, more meaning. Every piece is thoughtfully crafted in collaboration with ethical workshops in Mongolia, preserving artisanal know-how and supporting the nomadic families who raise cashmere goats. Our production respects natural rhythms and the environment, offering an elegant, responsible, and sincere alternative.

Ancestral craftsmanship passed down through generations

The exceptional quality of our cashmere comes from the Mongolian steppes, where millennia-old techniques shape the fiber with patience and precision. This direct connection with artisans and herders lies at the heart of our approach, reflecting a cultural and human heritage that gives each garment a unique, timeless soul.

A personal story, a genuine commitment

Founded by Séverine Perraudin, the brand was born from a passion for material, color, and the simplicity of form. After years in the traditional fashion industry, Séverine chose to create differently: with coherence, ethics, and a profound respect for natural cycles. This vision guides every step of the creation process, from selecting fibers to crafting garments, cultivating long-term relationships built on trust and mutual respect.

Responsible luxury reimagined

Severine Perraudin embodies a different vision of luxury, rooted in simplicity and respect for life. Our timeless, sensory garments invite a conscious lifestyle: consume less, choose better, and celebrate enduring beauty over the ephemeral.

Origins of a Noble Fiber - Women and the Steppes

Mongolian cashmere is born in extreme conditions, where goats roam freely across vast steppes and adapt to winters as cold as –40°C. Each spring, herders gently comb the undercoat, collecting only the finest fibers nature offers. This ancestral practice, passed down through generations of women artisans, protects both the animals and the land. The result is an exceptionally soft, sustainable cashmere, infused with the spirit of the steppe and a heritage of mindful craftsmanship.
